FUN FACTS:

The screen is 4500 times bigger than an average TV screen
The film is strong enough to pull a truck
Because giant-screen images look so real, the script or storyline probably can't exaggerate. There's a "low-baloney quotient."
Light from the 15,000-watt lamp in an IMAX projector is so bright that if it were on the moon we could see it from earth with the naked eye.
If a large log were held in front of the light beam from the projector, it would spontaneously combust.
Giant screens can be up to eight stories high for flat screen IMAX presentations.
A typical 45 minute large-format 2D film for IMAX theatres is three miles or 15,840 feet long.
The first permanent IMAX theatre opened at Ontario Place in Toronto in 1971.

The Daredevil Exhibit:

The Daredevil Gallery exhibits 11 original barrels that have challenged the mighty Falls! From Annie Taylor's successful trip in 1901 to David Munday's last attempt in 1193. The amazing stories are chronicled in information displayes with photographs of the actual events. Each artifact appears in it's original condition and is accompanied by vintage photography and descriptions of the events. It is a must see to complete your Niagara Falls experience!

National Geographic Store:

The National Geographic Store is one of only three in the world. Featuring unique gifts from around the world, shopping is truly an adventure! Educational children's toys, puzzles, National Geographic books and travel magazines, CD's from around the globe, IMAX and National Geographic video and DVD collections, and much more!

Multi language headsets are not available in Japanese or French at no additional charge. Please specify if you require one of these languages.

Restrooms, theatre, dining room, and store are wheelchair accessible.

Tickets cannot be used for 35MM Hollywood movies on the Imax Screen or in the Elite Cinema III.

Very Important:
US-Canada Border Crossing Information
~Canada will not allow a U.S. citizen into the country who does not have the proper documentation to return home. Everyone from every country arriving in Canada or the USA by air, land or sea now needs a passport or equivalent travel document. Equivalent travel documents include:
1. NEXUS CARD: A partnership between the Canada and U.S. border services that pre-approves entry for travelers by land, sea or air between Canada and U.S. An added benefit is designated and faster lanes at border crossings and airports. Application process involves interview and fingerprinting. Both U.S. and Canadian citizens apply through U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
2. U.S. PASSPORT CARD: This U.S. Department of State-issued ID is valid for entry into Canada by land or sea, though not valid for international air travel.
3. ENHANCED DRIVER'S LICENSE (EDL): EDLs indicate both citizenship and identity and are valid for entry into Canada by land or sea, though not valid for international air travel. As of January 2009, EDLs were only available in Washington and New York states, but were planned for Vermont as well. See individual state licensing departments for more info.
4. FAST/EXPRES CARD: This U.S. Customs and Border Protection program pre-approves commercial truck drivers for travel between the U.S. and Canada.

Children ages 18 and under are required to present proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate - passports, of course, are also acceptable.
~If one parent is traveling with a minor child without the other parent, they must also have a notarized letter from the absent parent stating approval for the one parent to travel across the US-Canada border with the child.

Transportation is not included. Child rate applies to ages 4 to 12; Children 3 and under are free. Prices are shown in US dollars. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-880-9101.
